Partnerships
Grand News Compass considers collaborations and partner placements that fit its interest in geography, maps and understanding place. Commercial material is clearly identified and kept separate from independent editorial work.
Possible collaborations
We consider relevant educational projects, map and publishing collaborations, event partnerships, and clearly labelled placements from organisations whose work fits the publication's subject. Proposals should explain the audience, the format, the proposed material and any commercial relationship involved.
How placements are handled
Partner placements may appear in agreed areas across the website, including relevant category or article-adjacent spaces. Each paid or partner item is labelled where readers encounter it. Placement does not imply editorial endorsement, and partners cannot buy a change to independent coverage.
Send a proposal
Use the Contact page and choose the partnership option. Include enough detail for us to understand the fit, intended placement, timing and terms. We review proposals individually and may decline material that is unclear, misleading or unrelated to the publication.
A map is a view, not the whole place
We look at the choices behind maps and the details beneath them. The aim is not to memorise every label, but to ask better questions about where we are.
